About

If there is one thing I am not particularly good at, it’s writing about myself. But since I went through all this trouble to get myself a little website, I figured I should tell you a little about and introduce myself.
My name is Annie and I am a tattoo artist. I moved to Raleigh, NC in 2003 and after not being able to find a suitable job for months, I was offered an apprenticeship in a local tattoo shop in 2004. With a background in art and the urge to make a change in the world, this was the perfect opportunity for me to express myself and make my surroundings more colorful on a daily basis. I worked in several shops in and around Raleigh for the next few years, and finally moved back to Germany in 2011. I found a new home at Lowbrow Tattoo Parlour in Berlin Friedrichshain and am working alongside 2 amazing artists: Sebastian Domaschke and Matthias Boettcher.
I don’t think I have a specialty really, but I love simple, strong and colorful designs.

I know where I will be going if I ever make it to Germany. Do you ever make it out to California? I would like to be first on your list if you do. Your artwork is amazing!

Ms. Annie,
Just wanted to put it out there that I found you either of Facebook or instagram and fell in love with your style and work. It’s amazing. More than that, it’s very inspiring. I just wanted you to know you’re fantastic and keep up the great work. I’ll be following you on there !!
Thanks,

Hi! I love your designs. I’m actually from Sydney so as much as I’d love a tattoo from you I don’t think it’s possible at this time, so I was wondering what you charge for a design/sketch. Let me know as I’m super interested.
Thanks,

Hey, I was looking through your work and I would love to get a cover up from you. My birthday is coming up soon and I’ve been wanting to get my calves covered for it. I’m from South Carolina but I can make a flight out to Berlin anytime and I am completely willing to considering your work is amazing. I’m a very picky person when it comes to style and lining since I’m an artist too but your work is very impressive. Please, contact me back. I’ve found you on facebook too and added you so we could talk more about it. Hope to hear from you soon! <3

Nooooo!!!!!!!!!!
I was just looking for you for a new piece and found out you had moved back to Germany!
You did an awesome leg piece for me back at Blue Flame in Raleigh (mountain laurel flowers for my daughter; I get compliments on it all the time!) and i was hoping for a new one
Oh well. Hope all is well for you. The skin of Europe will keep getting prettier as long as you’re there to decorate it. Best of luck!
